Has John Cena found his Road to WrestleMania?

John Cena Undertaker WrestleMania

16-time world champion John Cena has been on a mission to find his “Road to WrestleMania.” However, it hasn’t been easy for Cena.

The Cenation Leader failed to win the Royal Rumble after being eliminated by the eventual winner, Shinsuke Nakamura. He then attempted to win the Elimination Chamber, in which the winner would get a chance to fight WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. It wasn’t in the cards for Cena, though, and he would be eliminated by Braun Strowman.

This month, Cena edged his way into the WWE Championship at WWE Fastlane, defeating AJ Styles on Smackdown Live to turn the Fatal-5-Way into a Six-Pack Challenge. The match started out well for John, hitting an AA on four of his five opponents. However, he would come up short yet again, as AJ Styles hit Kevin Owens with the Phenomenal Forearm, retaining his title and his right to take on Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania.

Cena seemed dejected as Fastlane came to a close last night, but came out on Monday Night Raw reinvigorated. He teased the crowd with a handful of ideas, but by the end, it was clear that he was there to challenge the Deadman.

John Cena stated that the Undertaker has no real reason to turn him down, and he’s only hiding behind excuses. The Champ said that the WWE execs aren’t against the match happening, and neither are the fans. So the only reason Cena and the Undertaker never fought at WrestleMania is because he doesn’t want to.

“You’re not too old,” said Cena. “You’re not too broken. If you were, you wouldn’t be posting workout videos on your wife’s Instagram.”

The Undertaker has yet to respond, but with a few weeks left, we can expect to see the Deadman return on Monday Night Raw to accept Cena’s challenge.
